Elzinga is back! After missing the previous round of MXGP in Czechia due to a finger injury, the Dutchman returns this weekend for Round 15 of the season at Lommel – a circuit that has treated him well throughout his career. It’s great to see him back in action as he looks to finish strong in his final MX2 campaign.

This upcoming weekend, the Grand Prix of Belgium will take place in Lommel. Rick Elzinga will make his return to racing here after having to skip last weekend’s Grand Prix of the Czech Republic due to a pinky injury.
Elzinga has good memories of Lommel, as he managed to finish second overall here last year, just behind Kay de Wolf.
Rick Elzinga: “I’m ready. I’ve just been focusing on my physical training because I have not been able to ride because of my finger injury. I love Lommel, I finished second overall there last year and have had multiple podiums in EMX, so I’m looking forward to it. My goal is to try and find a setup that works for me and race with the same fire that I had last year.”
