Lucas Coenen gained one more championship point on points leader Romain Febvre as he eclipsed the Frenchman to take the MXGP qualifying win in the deep Lommel sand. The victory for the rookie marks the sixth time he has won a qualifying race in 2025.

Kay de Wolf clinched a much-needed win ahead of Andrea Adamo in the MX2 qualifying race. More importantly, both finished ahead of series points leader Simon Längenfelder, who placed fourth. Camden McLellan secured third place, a solid ride for the South African.
