At just 18 years of age, Lotte van Drunen is already a pioneer of women’s motocross on the global stage – and this past weekend’s MXGP in her homeland, the Netherlands, reaffirmed the important role she plays in growing WMX. The large Dutch crowd in Arnhem gathered trackside every time she was on the circuit, with a sea of van Drunen merchandise visible on the backs of many fans.

Despite not quite claiming the overall victory on the weekend, her 1-2 scorecard was enough to extend her points lead heading into the penultimate round in Türkiye.
