Hungarian talent Noel Zanocz has enjoyed a standout debut season in the EMX250 class, racing for the JM Racing Honda team. He has earned eight podiums and two overall victories, placing him second in the championship and keeping him within an outside shot at the title heading into Türkiye.
After the MXGP of the Netherlands, we caught up with Noel to discuss his season so far and what 2026 looks like, including his aims to race MX2 full time rather than EMX250. Hungary had been planning to send a team to the MXoN in October, led by Zanocz as a reward for his success. Unfortunately, this now looks unlikely due to funding, and he explained the possibility of pursuing an alternate route to get there.
It was a great insight into the positive and negative feedback he receives from Hungarian fans, and he spoke about how this motivates him, as well as the small number of riders in Hungary holding a professional license. Click the link below to listen to the interview!
