Double header action in Scotland this weekend for the British Championship marking rounds six and seven of the season. Conrad Mewse has ran the table so far in the MX1 class, seemingly en route to a potential perfect season. However, a Dutchman fans across the world know will be behind the gate in Scotland. Jeffrey Herlings will no doubt be threatening Mewse’s perfect season, and bring some more eyeballs onto the British scene.

The five time world champion is fresh off a perfect outing at his home Grand Prix just one weekend ago, where he swept both motos to secure his 110th Grand Prix victory. Adam Sterry needs to put his Chambers Racing KTM ahead of the #426 this weekend to claw back points in his bid for the MX1 title, and stop Mewse from clinching early. Lexa MX’s Josh Gilbert is a little ways back after his mid season issues with illness, but has regained his usual form and scored a season best at round five in Landrake.

It’s a Dirt Store Triumph 1-2 in the MX2 standings and Tommy Searle will certainly be closer to 100% fitness, in contrast to his last outing at Landrake where he remarkably pulled off the win after his back injury in Abu Dhabi. Youngsters Billy Askew and Charlie Heyman both have the veteran in their sights and are both fresh off some overseas races. Askew raced in the EMX250 championship in Sweden and the Netherlands, and Heyman raced the AMA Pro Motocross championship rounds at Unadilla and Budds Creek.

Ben Mustoe will be eager to back up his moto win in Landrake and finally secure an overall podium finish, and unfortunately for the Gabriel SS24 KTM team, they will be without Gyan Doensen as the Dutchman sustained a broken ankle and ligament damage in his shoulder in Sweden.

Charlie Richmond carries the red plate into the double header in the 125 class, holding a narrow thirteen point advantage over Ryan Waggott after the pair traded moto wins in Landrake. Drew Stock and Hayden Statt delivered a stunning performance at the Yamaha bLU cRU Super Finale in Sweden, with Stock taking the overall victory and Statt making it a British 1-2.
