Ben Watson has announced that he will be out of this year’s MXoN at Ironman next month due to circumstances out of his control. Earlier today, the provisional list of the three rider line would mean he would be riding alongside Conrad Mewse and Dylan Walsh.

A big blow for Team Great Britain and also for Watson, who has ridden well all season despite struggling with bike setup and numerous mechanical issues. Watson is a previous MXGP overall winner at the event in Mantova in 2021, and now fans will await the announcement of his replacement. Could it be Adam Sterry or Josh Gilbert…?
