After two impressive seasons abroad with the AEO Powersports KTM machine, Lux Turner and the team have officially parted ways. Turner ended his stint on a high, securing his best result as a pro with 8th overall at the final SMX round. This naturally raises the question: why would the team let Turner go? Rumors suggest he may be joining ClubMX for the 2026 season, though for now, that remains purely speculation.

AEO update via Instagram:

After two successful seasons together, AEO Powersports KTM and Lux Turner have mutually decided to part ways. This marks the conclusion of a valuable collaboration with a rider who has been an important member of the AEO Powersports KTM family.

Lux joined the team in 2024 and quickly demonstrated his determination, work ethic, and passion for the sport. Over the past two years, he secured two overall top-10 finishes in the U.S. 250 class, four top-10 moto results, and consistently remained competitive near the front of the field.

But Lux’s impact went beyond results. He was a respected teammate and a true professional, both on and off the track.

We thank Lux for his commitment, perseverance, and the great memories we’ve built together. The entire team wishes him every success in the next chapter of his career.
