A photo of Haiden Deegan announcing he will not race at the 2025 MXoN

After undergoing surgery on a broken collarbone two weeks ago, Haiden Deegan attempted to ride to see if he has the required fitness to still line up for Team USA this weekend at the Motocross of Nations. Racer X have now confirmed that Deegan was unable to ride without significant pain, meaning Justin Cooper will now step in the MX2 spot.

Thankfully for Team USA the uncertainty is resolved and riding with an injured Haiden Deegan would potentially derail the chances of winning the Chamberlains Trophy on home soil. Cooper is a previous champion for his country in 2022, and is coming off a strong 450SMX season.
