2025 has been an amazing year for Fantic Factory Racing rider Andrea Bonacorsi. The young Italian began his first full season in the premier class after racing just four MX2 rounds in 2024 before moving into MXGP, and he quickly found success in the opening rounds of this year’s campaign. A podium at the second round of the season in Cozar, followed by six top-five finishes and thirteen overall results inside the top ten, capped off a strong debut season. Combined with his youth, the 22-year-old did everything in his power to secure himself a contract for the coming seasons.
This year’s MXoN marked Bonacorsi’s third appearance at the event, where he finished 6th overall in the OPEN class alongside 6th overall with Team Italy in the classification. We caught up with him post-race to discuss his weekend at Ironman, his 2025 season, and also an insight into his future; which indicates that he has some security for the coming seasons, as he has signed a multi-year contract… click the link below to listen to the interview!
