An up-and-down season has seen Ty Masterpool’s contract with the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team come to an end. Reports have surfaced this week that Masterpool is testing at the Star Racing facility, which, if true, means he would be re-signing with the team he turned professional with in 2019.
A previous winner in Pro Motocross, Masterpool certainly has the potential to be a contender in the 250 class, with some strong showings also coming in the SMX playoffs. However, consistency has often been a struggle within his camp, as he has seemingly gone off the radar at times before reappearing with strong performances. To his credit, this has been ironed out in recent years – unsurprisingly coinciding with his breakthrough victory at High Point in 2024.
