Garrett Marchbanks will once again step up to the premier class—this time making the move full-time after graduating from the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki squad. As confirmed in this morning’s press release, Marchbanks will join Chase Sexton in 2026. Although he previously lined up in the 450MX class in 2022, 2023, and at select rounds in 2024, he will officially make his 450SX debut at Anaheim 1 this January.
Marchbanks’ previous stints in the premier class have been impressive. The extra horsepower naturally suited his larger frame, and he even snagged a moto podium at High Point in 2022.. “I’m super pumped to be moving up to the 450 Class full-time with Monster Energy Kawasaki” he said per the Kawasaki Press Release “This is an incredible opportunity, and I’m honored that they see the potential in me to move up.”
“I’m looking forward to the new challenge and showing everyone what I am capable of. I’ve been wanting to show my skills on a 450, and I can’t picture a better team to do it with. Kawasaki has always been family for me since mini bikes, and I’m glad I get to continue my career with such an amazing crew.”
