It has been confirmed that Kay Karssemakers will return to Steve Dixon’s DRT Kawasaki squad for the 2026 season, after joining midway through the year to fill in for the injured Bobby Bruce. Karssemakers will once again line up in the MX2 World Championship, aiming to build on the progress he made during his return to Grand Prix competition.

Kawasaki Netherlands confirmed the news via social media.

“Next season, Kay Karssemakers will be available again for the Kawasaki Dixon Racing Team in the MX2. In preparation for the next season, he came to pick up his new training engine at Kawasaki Benelux today. Good luck Kay!”
