Interview: Eddie Wade on Joining Dirt Store Triumph, Stark Experience, and Future Goals

Eddie Wade was one of the highly touted prospects from Britain just a few years ago (we won’t discuss whether Spain or the UK can claim him!), securing a world championship in the 85cc class and landing strong supported rides to compete in the EMX125 and EMX250 classes.

However, as we all know, injuries can redirect a rider’s career before it has gained the legs to run toward the professional ranks. Unfortunately for Wade, a misdiagnosed broken back, partnered with knee injuries and a significant head knock, forced him to step away from the sport and attempt a go at “normal life.”

That changed when Stark Varg provided him with the opportunity to race the UK Arenacross Series on the electric machine. Fast forward two years, and Eddie is now fully fledged in indoor racing, having landed a ride with one of the best teams in the UK, Dirt Store Triumph Racing. In this episode, we discuss Eddie’s Spanish roots and background in the sport, his return to normal life, and what motivated him to come back to racing.
