Anaheim 1 is one of the most prestigious races on earth for motocross/supercross fans. Angel Stadium is packed with fans who travel from across the globe to witness the first gate drop of the year. The elusive seventeen-round series kickstarts at the highest magnitude, with the possibility of anyone capturing the first main event victory of the season.
The list of previous podium finishers varies, with Chase Sexton claiming a win and two podiums in the previous three seasons; Jason Anderson has secured two trophies in the past two seasons, and fellow veteran Ken Roczen is always a threat at the early stages of a season. Jett Lawrence is sidelined due to a recent injury, which undoubtedly injects confidence into the whole field — they are all as competitive as an athlete can be, with the utmost confidence in their own ability, but Jett carries an aura unlike the rest.

With Chase Sexton and Eli Tomac both heading into Anaheim 1 on new machinery, and Cooper Webb’s struggles to defend his number one plate in years past, the quest for the championship trophy has question marks from every angle.
