Eli Tomac led the way in 450SX qualifying, putting Red Bull KTM Factory Racing at the top of the timesheets with a fastest lap of 45.434. It was an incredibly tight session, with the top five riders separated by less than three tenths of a second. Justin Cooper slotted into second place for Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing, just 0.022 seconds off the benchmark, while current points leader Hunter Lawrence secured third for Honda HRC Progressive with a 45.579 lap. Returning MXGP champion Jorge Prado continued to show strong pace in fourth position on the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machine, while defending Supercross champion Cooper Webb completed the top five for Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing.

450SX

Seth Hammaker set the benchmark in the 250SX qualifying session, putting Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki on top with a fastest lap of 45.148 around the Indianapolis circuit. Cole Davies secured second position for Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha with a 45.675, while Jo Shimoda placed his Honda HRC Progressive machine third on the timesheets with a 45.741. Daxton Bennick followed in fourth position for Rockstar Energy Husqvarna, as Coty Schock rounded out the top five aboard the ClubMX Yamaha.
