Former MX2 World Champion and current Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP pilot Maxime Renaux returned to the podium at the third round of the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship last weekend in Switzerland, the first time since he claimed the season-opening victory in Argentina a year prior.

Despite achieving a podium, in our interview with the Frenchman post-race, he admitted there is still work to do in order to make these results more consistent. And speaking of consistency, he provided an interesting insight into his new approach this season to avoid the torrid times he has had with injuries in recent years.
