Official: Fox Racing Sign Haiden Deegan

The Rivalry That Could Define The Next Decade

Few rider comparisons have generated as much debate in recent years as Hayden Deegan versus Jett Lawrence.

One is the sport’s ultimate showman—a rider who thrives under pressure, embraces controversy, and races with relentless aggression. The other is widely regarded as a once-in-a-generation talent, capable of making the world’s fastest riders look ordinary.

While they have spent most of their professional careers in different classes, their paths are rapidly converging. With Deegan preparing for his premier class debut and Lawrence already established as the benchmark in 450 racing, motocross fans worldwide are counting down the days until they share the same gate.

Deegan has asserted his dominance on the 250 class, in a way that is hard to ignore (even for the haters!) but the 450 premier class is a different beast, a beast that Jett has tamed over and over again.

The biggest question mark for us is the injury comeback for Jett. No videos of him riding, pre season races or even images of him on the bike make it almost impossible to gauge where the young Australian will be at. But even with this said, Jett wouldn’t be coming back if he was not ready and will not want to lose to Hayden no matter what position they are both in.

There is no denying both riders work ethic, speed and want to win. But with World champions like Jorge Prado, multi time AMA champions Tomac and Sexton, and Jett’s older brother Hunter – it may not be the two horse show people are expecting!
