Could we see Tom Vialle back racing in America one day?

After making the move back to the MXGP paddock, Vialle has admitted that a future return to the United States isn’t completely off the table — although there’s something he’d like to achieve first.

Speaking to us on the Cult Moto Post Race Podcast, Vialle was asked whether winning another World Championship could potentially change his plans.

“If I got a world title, then yes, I would debate moving back to the US.”

It’s an interesting answer from the Frenchman, who already knows exactly what life on both sides of the Atlantic looks like. After winning two MX2 World Championships, Vialle made the huge move to America and went on to establish himself at the sharp end of US racing before eventually returning to the Grand Prix paddock.

For now, though, it sounds like there is unfinished business in MXGP.

Another world title would certainly be one way of ticking that box — and if Vialle manages to do exactly that, maybe another chapter in America isn’t quite as unlikely as we thought.
