Talented British rider Billy Askew has officially parted ways with Dirt Store Triumph Racing after a successful two years together.
Askew achieved six podiums in the British Championships alongside many impressive rides against Europe’s best riders in the EMX250 championship, with his race win and overall podium in Lommel shining through, displaying the sort of ceiling a rider like Askew has when everything pieces together.
After these impressive showings, Askew is expected to still be in the EMX250 division in 2027, with our sources pointing towards him joining the Maddii Racing Honda squad. The Italian-based effort could act as the catalyst to continue Askew’s progression, stepping away from the comfort of living in the UK and chasing the dream of becoming a full-time world championship competitor.
Dirt Store Triumph posted the following statement:
“After two amazing years, Billy Askew will be departing Dirt Store Triumph Racing. Billy has achieved some huge milestones with the team and the TF 250-X over the past two seasons, securing six podiums in the British Championship alongside some fantastic rides in the EMX250 series, highlighted by his race win and overall podium at Lommel earlier this year.
