Miot and SC Sporthomes Husqvarna Part Ways

Frenchman Florian Miot and British Motocross racing team part ways mid-season, after results not being met. Miot had a more successful in, showing good race speed, finishing 3rd in Pro MX2 at the Michelin MX Nationals, and 5th at the REVO British Championship.

This year however, we are yet to see the same spark from Florian, as he currently sits outside the top 10 in both championships. We are yet to know Flo’s next move, but we hope he can get back to his previous ways soon!

The SC Sporthomes Husqvarna team had this to say about Florian’s departure;

“Joining at the start of the 2021 season we have had Florian Miot represent our team in the 250 class on board the Husqvarna FC250. Unfortunately he will no longer be riding for the team. After not getting the results we’d hope for this season a decision was made that Florian would leave the team and this comes with immediate effect, which means he will not be under the SC sporthomes awning at the next British round at FatCat. We are looking for a replacement rider for this and will announce this in due course. We want to thank Florian for the past 2 years and remember all the great times we had as a team and wish him the best of luck for the future!”

Florian took to Instagram to give his thanks to the team;

“A beautiful end between the team @sc_sporthomes_husqvarna and me 😞
I wanted to thank the entire team and all the people who were there for me during his wonderful 2 years. Thank you very much ❤️”
