A 2nd place finish in the Superfinal showed Brent has some serious speed going into 2023.
The MX2 class was topped by none other than local lad Joel Rizzi. Rizzi rode smooth all day, fighting in the pack with the MX1 riders, and comfortably took home a win, whilst back on home soil after three years. Tru7 Honda rider Jake Nichols had a great display after dropping back to the MX2 class, keeping Rizzi honest in Moto 2, and taking 2nd overall with a 3-2 scorecard. Rounding out the podium was Gabriel SS24 KTM rider, Taylor Hammal, on his first competitive race back after almost two years of injury. Hammal showed good speed all day to pull through the pack, and will take this in his stride to begin the racing season.
