RESULTS: East Rutherford SX Qualifying

Round 14 of the Monster Energy SX series heads to East Rutherford, NJ. For the first time this year, the 250SX class has a showdown where both the East coast and West coast racers will compete against each other. Eli Tomac and Aaron Plessinger both had big crashes in the Free Practice and and First qualifying session and failed to log a time in the first session. Tomac did come back in session two, but Plessinger is out for the night.

450 had Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jason Anderson top the qualifying charts. Progressive Suzuki’s Ken Roczen and HRC Honda’s Chase Sexton followed closely for 2nd and 3rd. Justin Hill was impressive and got his best qualifying time of the year in 4th with Justin Barcia in 5th.

250 West had HRC Honda’s Jett Lawrence top both Sessions. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s RJ Hampshire and Red Bull KTM’s Maximus Vohland finished 2nd and 3rd. Carson Mumford and Pierce Brown in the top 5.

250 East saw HRC Honda’s Hunter Lawrence finish on the pole for their respective coast. Monster Energy Star Racing’s Jordon Smith and Firepower Honda’s Max Anstie qualified 2nd and 3rd overall in the East qualifying. Tom Vialle and Chris Blose rounding out the top 5.

Supercross Futures saw Julien Beaumer top the qualifying charts. Followed closely by Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Casey Cochran, and Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Ryder Difrancesco. Daxton Bennick and Jyire Mitchell rounded out the top 5.
