One of Britain’s brightest young talents, Ben Mustoe, will continue with the ASA United GASGAS team for the 2026 season. After a breakout year in the British Championshipwhere he secured his first-ever professional race win, Mustoe firmly established himself among the top crop of riders in the UK.
Even more impressive is that Mustoe managed this success while still studying for the majority of the season, whereas many of his rivals chasing opportunities across Europe are full-time riders. 2026 could be the year his full potential shines through, with no academic distractions and a clear focus on dedicating himself fully to his craft, as he once again aims to contend for the MX2 British Championship title.
As for potential appearances abroad, it remains uncertain whether we’ll see Mustoe competing outside of the UK—unsurprisingly, the financial demands are the biggest hurdle at this stage. However, if you cast your mind back to the MXGP of Matterley Basin earlier this year, he secured a top-ten moto finish after running inside the top five for a significant portion of the race—proof that he can mix it up with some of the best.
Lee Tolan, ASA United GASGAS
“We are delighted to continue our work with Ben going into next season; this year he has shown some great speed and proved himself to be more than worthy of fighting with the best of the British at the sharp end of the field. His tenacity and dedication to improving himself as an athlete – both on and off of the bike – give us every confidence that we are heading into 2026 as championship contenders in the ACU British Motocross Championship!”
We would like to thank our sponsors once again for their unwavering support throughout the 2025 season. We are incredibly grateful for their contributions and continued collaborations – we’ll be putting in the work over the winter and look forward to getting back behind the gate in a few month’s time!
