Byron Dennis has made his intentions pretty clear for next season — he wants to be lining up for a full year of MX2 World Championship racing.

The young Aussie has been getting a taste of racing on the world stage, but speaking to us on the Cult Moto Post Race Podcast, Dennis revealed that the goal for next year is to take things a step further and commit to the complete MX2 campaign.

“I want to do the whole year next year in MX2.”

It would be a big step for Dennis, with a full MX2 season bringing everything from the different tracks and conditions to the relentless travel that comes with following the World Championship around the globe.

But that experience is exactly what can help turn a promising young rider into an established Grand Prix racer.

There are obviously still plenty of pieces that need to fall into place before next season, but Dennis certainly knows where he wants to be. If everything comes together, we could be seeing a lot more of the Aussie in the MX2 paddock next year.
